Digital Goa, Jan 22 – The Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA) has urged citizens to report sanitation issues such as garbage dumps, poor sweeping and dirty public toilets through the Swachhata–MoHUA app. Complaints, geo-tagged through uploaded photos, are forwarded to the concerned sanitary inspector and must be resolved by municipal councils within 12 hours. Officials are required to upload a “resolved” photo before closing complaints, with delays leading to escalation to higher authorities. The app is available on Android and iOS, and covers issues including garbage collection failures, uncleared dustbins, lack of sweeping, and public toilet cleaning or utility problems.
