Digital Goa, Janu , 21 – Goa govt has empowered the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to intercept, monitor and decrypt digital information in emergency situations under the Information Technology Act, 2000. The order mandates that all such actions be reported to the Home Secretary within three working days and approved within seven working days, failing which the surveillance must cease.
