Digital Goa, Feb 2 – The newly established Government Hospital and Research Centre, Tuem (GMC Link), was commissioned for public use on February 2, 2026, strengthening advanced healthcare access in North Goa. The facility will function as a link hospital to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, offering specialised services to the region.The hospital will house 13 OPDs serviced by doctors from GMC and DHS including OPDs for Medicine, Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology , Dentistry, Paediatrics,Physiotherapy, ENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology,AYUSH, Radiology and Ophthalmology.
CM Sawant informed that operation theatre services at the Tuem hospital will commence within the next six months. The ground-plus-one hospital has a capacity of 100 beds.
