Digital Goa, Feb 2 – Pankaj Kumar (32), a native of Begusarai, Bihar, died in an accidental choking incident in Majorda on February 1, 2026. Police said Kumar, who was working in Majorda, fell from a chair while in an intoxicated condition, causing the religious thread around his neck to get entangled in a nail, leading to choking. He was shifted to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, where he was declared brought dead. The incident has been captured on CCTV.
