Digital Goa, Mar 20 – Goa rolls out comprehensive Wellness, Ayurveda and Yoga Policy to regulate sector, boost global tourism appeal. In a move aimed at streamlining and elevating its wellness tourism sector, the Goa government has notified the Goa Wellness, Ayurveda and Yoga Policy, 2026, introducing a structured framework for regulation and accreditation of wellness centres across the state. The policy will apply to all wellness, Ayurveda, and yoga centres, including those operating independently as well as within hotels, resorts, and tourism establishments. It lays down norms for registration, quality standards, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure consistency and credibility in services.
