Digital Goa, May 13 – The Directorate of Higher Education has invited online applications from eligible candidates for 166 contract-basis and 99 lecture basis appointments to the posts of College Librarian, College Director of Physical Education, College Counsellor, and Assistant Professors/Lecture Basis across various government colleges in Goa for the academic year 2026-27.
The vacancies are spread across institutions including Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Sanquelim; Government College of Commerce and Economics, Borda; Government Goa College of Home Science, Campal; Goa College of Music, Altinho; and Government College of Physical Education, Margao.
Major openings include 28 contract and 8 lecture basis posts in Commerce, 18 contract and 5 lecture basis posts in Computer Science, 10 posts for College Counsellor, 9 contract and 11 lecture basis posts in Hindi, and multiple vacancies across subjects such as English, Geography, Mathematics, Psychology, Political Science, Biotechnology, and Music.
Applications must be submitted online through the Directorate’s website by 5 pm on May 26, 2026. The department said appointments will be made against available vacancies and will remain valid till the end of the academic year or expiry of the leave period, whichever is earlier.
