Digital Goa, May 15 – Goa government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) for its employees and staff of grant-in-aid educational institutions from 58% to 60% of basic pay with effect from January 1, 2026. The revised DA will be paid from May 2026 onwards, along with arrears for the period from January to April 2026. According to an office memorandum issued by the Finance (Expenditure) Department on Friday, the state has adopted the Government of India’s April 22, 2026 order on DA enhancement for its employees drawing pay under the revised pay structure.
