Digital Goa, June 1 – Strengthening irrigation projects, improving water distribution systems, ensuring sustainable water management, and enhancing support for agriculture and rural development in Goa were among the issues discussed by the state government with the Centre on Monday. The discussions took place during a meeting of CM Pramod Sawant with Union Jal Shakti Minister C R Patil in New Delhi. CM said he also discussed measures for efficient utilisation of water resources and long-term water security for Goa with assistance from the Central Government.
