Digital Goa, June 2 – Authorities on Tuesday commenced the demolition of unauthorized portions of the Nazri Beach Resort at Naikawaddo, Calangute as per Supreme Court order. Heavy machinery was deployed at the site under the supervision of government officials to dismantle structures found to be allegedly in violation of CRZ regulations. The demolition includes a multi-storey building block that had been at the centre of a prolonged legal dispute.
