CM urges Goans to adopt healthier lifestyles after NFHS-6 flags rising lifestyle diseases in Goa

    Digital Goa, June 4 – In the backdrop of the recent NFHS-6 findings highlighting high levels of diabetes and lifestyle-related health concerns in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged citizens to adopt healthier lifestyles. In a social media post, Sawant called on Goans to exercise regularly, eat healthy, and reduce their intake of sugar and junk food. He also appealed to doctors and healthcare professionals to create greater awareness about preventive healthcare. CM also encouraged people to participate in the statewide ‘Health with Ayurveda’ campaign, which has been extended till July 5, stating that small lifestyle changes can lead to better health outcomes.
