The Department of Tourism has invited applications for registration and renewal of permissions for temporary shacks and huts/cottages in private properties for the tourism season 2026-27.
According to a public notice, application forms are available on the department’s official website and can be submitted at the Registration Facilitation Centres (RFCs) located at Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, and Mathany Saldanha Complex, South Zone Office, Margao, along with the prescribed documents and fees.
The department has specified separate document requirements for new registrations and renewals, including ownership documents, site plans, coastal zone clearances wherever applicable, affidavits and fire safety NOCs.
Officials said applications will be processed based on site conditions, availability of space and compliance with prescribed norms. The last date for submission of renewal applications is July 15, 2026.
