Digital Goa, June 11 – The Department of Tourism has invited applications for registration and renewal of permissions to conduct aero sports activities in Goa for the 2026-27 season under the Goa Aero Sports Rules, 2025.
According to a public notice issued by the department, applications have been invited from aero sports operators, tandem pilots and solo pilots seeking permission to conduct aero sports activities in the state. The rules governing the sector were notified earlier this year.
The department said application forms and detailed guidelines are available on its official website and at the Registration Facilitation Centres (RFCs) at Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, Panaji, and Mathany Saldanha Complex, Margao.
Applications, along with the prescribed documents and fees, can be submitted from June 12 to July 10 during working hours. Registrations will be granted only after scrutiny by a technical committee and verification of safety, operational and qualification requirements.
Under the notified fee structure, operators will have to pay ₹1 lakh per aircraft, tandem pilots ₹10,000 and solo pilots ₹1,000 for Indian nationals and ₹2,500 for foreign nationals.
The department has clarified that aero sports activities must be conducted only at designated and approved sites in compliance with DGCA, AAI and ATC guidelines, and that it will not be responsible for any claims, losses or accidents arising from such operations.
