Digital Goa, June 28 – One person was killed and another injured after a car travelling from Margao towards Karwar veered off the road and plunged into a marshy field near Char Rasta in Canacona on Sunday. According to preliminary information, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and plunge into the marshy field. One of the occupants got trapped inside the car and died at the scene, while another occupant managed to escape with injuries and was shifted for medical treatment. Police and emergency services rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation.
