High Court directs 2 luxury cruise operators to clear Tourism Department dues within 15 days

Digital Goa, July 7 – High Court has directed two luxury cruise operators to clear all outstanding dues payable to the Goa Tourism Department within two weeks. The direction was issued by a division bench while hearing two connected writ petitions.The court recorded the petitioners’ undertaking to settle the pending dues arising from their earlier use of government berthing facilities. It further directed the Tourism Department to consider their applications for allotment of two permanent berths for their vessels, after the dues are cleared.
