Digital Goa, July 13 – Panjim Police have identified the body recovered from the Mandovi River near the Panjim Ferry Terminal in the early hours of Monday as 27-year-old Nafiz Ahmed of Haribani, Kolkata, West Bengal. Police said the deceased was identified by his family members. After completion of the formalities, the body was handed over to the family for the last rites. The deceased had jumped from the Old Mandovi Bridge on July 10.
