Digital Goa, July 14 – TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane on Tuesday said he was unaware of the protest staged by Carapur-Sarvan villagers at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi against the proposed mega project in the village, remarking that he does not watch television. Responding to questions from reporters, Rane said, “I don’t know anything about it. I don’t watch TV.” When asked whether he believed there was a political motive behind the protest, the Minister replied, “Elections are near,” indicating that the agitation could be politically driven.
