Digital Goa, July 26 – Goa State Election Commission has published the draft delimitation of wards for the upcoming general elections to 11 municipal councils across the state and invited objections and suggestions from the public. The notification, issued by State Election Commissioner covers the municipal councils of Mormugao, Margao, Mapusa, Curchorem-Cacora, Bicholim, Cuncolim, Quepem, Canacona, Valpoi, Pernem and Sanguem. Citizens have been asked to submit objections or suggestions in writing to the Office of the Goa State Election Commission at Altinho, Panaji, within 30 days from the date of publication of the notification. The draft delimitation outlines the proposed ward boundaries for the ensuing municipal elections.
