Digital Goa, July 27 – Bandora Gram Sabha on Sunday unanimously passed four resolutions opposing the proposed establishment of the IIT Goa campus at Farmagudi, citing concerns over its impact on a site of religious and cultural significance as well as the village at large. They urged the government to reconsider the location of the IIT campus. The Sarpanch and panch members assured the Gram Sabha that the Village Panchayat would be with the people and uphold the collective decision taken by the villagers.
