Digital Goa, July 28 – The Goa Government has issued a notification bringing into effect the “Anywhere Registration” system under the Indian Registration Act, enabling citizens to register sale deeds, mortgage deeds and other property documents at any Sub-Registrar’s office within the concerned district, irrespective of where the property is located. The notification establishes Sub-Registrar offices for the registration districts of North Goa, South Goa and Kushavati, in line with the Cabinet decision announced last week. The new system is aimed at simplifying property registration and improving public convenience by allowing registration at any designated office within the respective district.
