Digital Goa, July 31 – Fast Track Special Court (POCSO) sentenced a 28-year-old married man to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old minor girl in Mapusa, which resulted in her pregnancy. The convict, identified as Mohammad Shahnashah (28), a resident of Mapusa and native of Katihar, Bihar, was arrested by the Mapusa Police on November 8, 2024, following an FIR filed by the victim’s father.
