Digital Goa, August 3 – The Goa government has constituted the Goa State Poultry Development Corporation Ltd. (GSPDC) to promote, regulate and modernise the state’s poultry sector, according to a notification issued by the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services. The government-owned company will oversee poultry production, marketing, licensing, biosecurity, public awareness and implementation of CPCSEA guidelines, besides working to streamline and regularise the poultry trade in Goa.
