Digital Goa, August 3 – CM Pramod Sawant has said the Goa government has already urged the Centre to expedite the implementation of Scheduled Tribe (ST) reservation in the state and that his efforts on the issue are continuing. Speaking to reporters, Sawant expressed confidence that the Centre would move ahead with the proposal after completing the necessary legal and other verifications. Minister and ST leader Ramesh Tawadkar said he was confident that the issue will be resolved within next 15 to 30 days. Incidentally, mega protest has been announced by ST leaders on Aug 13 to press for the demand of ST reservation in Assembly.
