Digital Goa, August 4 – CM Pramod Sawant on Tuesday flagged off a new fleet of firefighting and emergency response vehicles, including eight mid-sized water tenders, a state-of-the-art Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Response Vehicle, a 42-metre Turn Table Ladder (TTL) for high-rise rescue operations, and operational support motorcycles to enhance the Fire and Emergency Services’ response capabilities across Goa. The vehicles have been procured under the 15th Finance Commission and Goa government funding and aim to strengthen the state’s disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities.
