Digital Goa, Sept 11 – Goa has begun rolling out AgriStack, the Government of India’s digital public infrastructure aimed at creating a unified agricultural data ecosystem. The platform assigns each farmer a unique digital ID linked to their profile, geo-referenced land records and crop data. As per govt, Farmer ID is designed to simplify access to government subsidies, bank credit and customised agricultural advice while improving transparency and efficiency in service delivery.CM Pramod Sawant felicitated Goa’s first five AgriStack-enrolled farmers, all from Surla today.
