A Cansaulim resident has complained that he was allegedly cheated of Rs 4.5 lakh by a man who promised him employment in Germany. Complainant alleged that a person from Sarzora, Chinchinim who presented himself as a recruiting agent, induced him to transfer the money through different modes between June 26 and July 31, 2026. The accused allegedly stopped responding to his calls, failed to provide the job and did not return the money.
