Mandrem police have arrested Uzbekistan national Davlatbek Kodirov, for allegedly possessing and offering counterfeit US dollar notes for exchange at a Hotel at Arambol, on October 31.According to a complaint by Arambol resident, the accused possessed 50 counterfeit notes of US $100 each, totalling US $5,000, and knowingly offered them to members of the public for exchange. Police also alleged violation of visa conditions. He was arrested on November 1.
