Digital Goa, July 13 – With the objective of keeping the state tax dept office abreast with the latest GST Development, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Department of State Tax, Government of Goa and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), today. The collaboration will help the officials to be in a better position to interpret the act and rules in its true sense there by avoiding litigation on taxation, states a release. The MoU is also to develop Co-operation and collaboration in capacity building, research, assistance in policy making, consulting and other activities.
