State to start receiving 36.99% of gross Mopa Airport Revenue from May 31 next year

    Digital Goa, July 25 – As per the Concession Agreement entered between the Government and the GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL), Goa Government’s share of 36.99% of the gross revenue from Manohar International Airport will be payable with effect from May 31, 2024, the House was told in a written reply today by CM Pramod Sawant. He was responding to question raised by Yuri Alemao on revenue generated by the Government from Dabolim and Mopa Airports. “The details of revenue generated by the Dabolim Airport is not within the purview of the Government of Goa as the same is under the administrative control of the Airports Authority of India,” the reply added.

    Goa govt has not conducted any study regarding the likely impact of international flight operations from Manohar International Airport on Dabolim International Airport, the reply further stated.
