Digital Goa, July 31- Grant-in-aid schools have no right to take additional money from students as govt provides them with 100 % financial assistance to ensure free of cost education in the state till Std XII, asserted CM Pramod Sawant. “Govt will initiate action against schools if a complaint comes to us in writing that aided schools are taking money from students in any form,” he asserted. He however acknowledged that parents are not coming forward to complain fearing that their child may be targeted by the school. CM was speaking during the discussion and voting on demands for grants 2023-24 for Educational Institutions.
