Digital Goa, August 23 – The High Court has directed the owner of the car involved in the Banastari accident Meghna Sawardekar to deposit Rs 2 crore in the court. This amount will be later disbursed to the victims of horrific accident that happened due to drunk driving by her husband Paresh Sawardekar. The High Court was hearing the petition filed by Meghna Sawardekar challenging the summons issued to her by Mardol Police. Three persons lost their lives and two sustained grievous injuries in the accident on Banastari bridge.
