Digital Goa, Sept 7 – Karwar Police today seized a truck illegally transporting liquor worth Rs 1.18 lakh on Goa border at Karwar. The truck had crossed over from Goa into Karnataka at Pollem without detection by Goa Excise. Two Karwar residents are arrested while one is absconding. Total 504 feni bottles and over 200 whiskey bottled packed in Goa were seized. The liquor was meant for distribution in Karwar and surrounding areas.
