Digital Goa, Oct 25 – All Government offices will remain closed from 1 pm onwards on October 26, 2023 in order to ‘avoid Traffic congestion’ in Margao, in view of formal opening ceremony of 37 th National Games at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda Margao, states a release issued by the General Administration Dept, govt of Goa. “On the occasion of opening ceremony of 37 National Games in Goa at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, Margao, South Goa, in the presence of VVIPS, the Government is pleased to order that all the Government Offices will remain closed from 1.00 p.m. onwards on 26 October, 2023, in order to avoid traffic congestion in Margao,” states the notice. These timings are however not applicable to the essential services Departments.
