Digital Goa, Oct 30 – Goa govt has issued notification reducing the excise duty on high-end foreign liquor and marginally increasing the duty on other categories of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL). Excise duty has been reduced between Rs 50 and Rs 1,100 per bottle on high-end foreign liquor and increased by Rs 10 to Rs 30 on other categories of IMFL. The notification specifies excise duty, license fee, tree tax, permit fee, import fee, application fee, processing fee, fee for transfer or shifting of licence, fee for recording of label, rates of fees on licences per year, the licence fee for possession, storage of excisable articles etc.
