Digital Goa, Nov 13- Work of Left hand side (LHS) of new Zuari bridge is on schedule and the bridge is likely to be ready by Dec 10, informed PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral. Due to rains, work had to be stopped for 6-7 days, he added. By Dec 10 all works are likely to be completed. Load testing will be done after that. The bridge is likely to be thrown open for public by December end or January.
▪️ Two diversion roads to be finalised before Porvorim flyover work commences
Cabral also said that his department is in the process of finalising on two diversion roads to minimise the woes commuters will face once the work of Porvorim elevated six-lane highway corridor starts. He said 2-3 sites are being considered. Rajasthan based Rajendra Singh Bhamboo Infra Private Ltd (RSBIPL) has been allotted the Rs 474.64 crore contract for the elevated corridor.
