Digital Goa, Dec 18 – Goa govt is offering students who fail in Std 10th and 12th, alternative means of clearing the board exams through ITI courses. If students failing in Std 10th complete one year ITI course, it will be considered equivalent to 10th pass. Similarly those failing in 12th std can complete 2 year ITI course to be considered 12th pass. Their certificates will be valid for govt jobs also where 10th pass is the basic minimum prequalification, informed CM Pramod Sawant today.
▪️ Simply process for giving board exams externally
Sawant urged the Goa board to simply the process of clearing the board exam for students having difficulties in clearing the boards. He pointed out that such students go to other state boards and pay large sums of money to answer the board exams externally. He advised Goa board to notify Taluka wise schools for giving such external exams. He was speaking at the inaugural function of new three storied building for the Goa Board of Higher Secondary Education(GBSHSE). The building located on a plot area of 8100 sq mtr has ground coverage of 2132 sq mtr and total built-up area of 10,283.90 sq mtr.
