Digital Goa, Dec 20 – Nearly 1.8 lakh people have enrolled under Atal Pension Yojna(APY) in Goa since its inception in 2015, Rajya Sabha was told in a written reply. APY is a pension scheme focused on the unorganised sector workers and offers pension benefits after the age of 60 years depending on the contributions by the subscribers. The pension benefit under APY is expected to start from 2035 onwards. Total cumulative enrolment under APY in Goa since inception in May 2015 till 7th December, 2023 is 1,80,259
