Digital Goa, Dec 26 – State government has issued a circular imposing financial restrictions on all its departments for the next three months i.e. before the commencement of the next financial year. Restrictions have been imposed on purchase of office equipment, vehicles, materials etc as well as recruitment of new posts, till March 31,2024. The circular issued by the finance department has directed all the government departments to reduce all office expenditure by 25 % excluding employee salary, pension and loan repayment. The departments have been asked not to spend more than 20 % of the budgetary provisions and reduce the expenditure on major schemes of the govt.
