Digital Goa, Jan 12 – Mhadei water dispute is on for past 30 years and is not a matter that can be solved in a jiffy with one visit, said CM Sawant when asked about the tentative timeline for center to act on Goa’s demands. “This is not an issue where time line can be specified offhand,” he added. Technically and legally also we are going to continue with the fight all through our tenure and are confident that no injustice will be meted out to Goa, he said. “We are confident that we will win this battle ,” he asserted. The 10 member Goa delegation met Union Home Minister and Union Jal Shakti Minister in Delhi yesterday with demand to withdraw approval to DPR and formation of Mhadei Water Management Authority.
