Digital Goa, Mar 18 – Four fake Rs 500 notes were given to an attendant by a four wheeler rider after purchasing Rs 2,000 worth fuel at a petrol pump on the National Highway at Dhargal, Pernem. The counterfeit notes has ‘Children Bank of India’ written on them. As per the complaint filed at the Pernem Police station, the notes were accepted by the attendant without proper checking as they were given by the miscreant during rush hours. The matter came to light at night when the attendant was handing over the day’s collection to his superiors. Police are investigating the matter with the help of CCTV footage. Such these fake notes of Children’s Bank of India have been doing the rounds across the nation since 2018.
