Disqualification petition against defected MLAs once again adjourned

Digital Goa, Mar 18 – The disqualification petition hearing against defector MLAs before Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly was again adjourned today in view of petition filed by two MLAs to allow them to bring witnesses on record. Lawyers of Digambar Kamat and Michael Lobo has made a fresh petition to bring witnesses before the Speaker. The Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar heard the matter and postponed the decision for next hearing. The arguments on the main disqualification petition is yet to commence. Congress has filed disqualification petition before Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly against earstwhile Congress MLAs who defected to BJP.
