Road closure and diversion announced in view of PM Modi’s poll campaign meet at Sancoale tomorrow

Digital Goa, April 26- National Highway Authority of India(NHAI) PIU Goa has issued a public notice restricting vehicular movement from 1 pm to 10 pm in view of the visit and poll campaign public meeting of PM Narendra Modi in the open space opposite BITS Pilani Junction tomorrow, April 27.   National Highway Authority of India(NHAI) PIU Goa has issued temporary Notification for road closure, stopping and diversion of heavy vehicles and restriction on plying of vehicles in this regards.

 *Road Closure / Diversion*

1. The stretch of NH-566 (Old NH-17B) road from Dabolim Airport Junction upto Birla Cross Junction will remain closed for general vehicular traffic on 27.04.2024 from 1 pm to 10 pm, except for public attending the meeting.

2. The general vehicular traffic proceeding towards IDC-Panaji- Margao side will be diverted at Dabolim Airport Junction towards Chicalim Junction – Cortalim Junction and vice versa for their onward journey.

3. The Stretch of NH-566 (Old NH-17B) road from Birla Titan Junction towards Dabolim Airport Junction will remain closed for general vehicular traffic from 1 pm hrs to 10 pm Hrs, except for public attending the meeting.

4. The general vehicular traffic proceeding towards Vasco will be diverted at Birla Cross Junction towards Sharayu Toyota Slip road – Cortalim Junction-Chicalim Junction and vice versa for their onward journey.

1. No Entry for heavy vehicles on NH-566 (Old NH-17B) from Varunapuri Junction towards Dabolim Junction -MES Junction – Birla Cross Junction.

2. No Entry for heavy vehicles on NH-566 (Old NH-17B) from Birla Cross Junction towards, Queeny Junction-MES Junction – Dabolim Airport – Varunapuri Junction.

3. No Entry for heavy vehicles from Queeny Junction on NH-566 (Old NH-17B) towards Birla Market Road-MES Junction.

4. No Entry for heavy vehicles from MES Junction on NH-566 (Old NH-17B) towards Birla Market Road Queeny Junction.
