Aug 2 – Goa govt is considering setting up third district comprising of remote talukas of Canacona, Sanguem, Quepem and Dharbandora, CM Sawant informed the house today. A Committee has been appointed under Director of Planning & Statistics to study the feasibility of establishing the third district. Next step in this regards will be taken after studying the report submitted by the committee, Sawant said.
