Aug 4 – One killed and two injured in a self accident at Shantinagar- Vasco late last night. The driver of the car lost control of the vehicle and it went off the road. Following this the car fell from height and dashed into a house down below. 19-year-old Sanjyot Borkar died on the spot while car driver David Cruz (age 20 years) and Saharsh Bhosale (age 24 yrs) were seriously injured and are being treated at GMC Hospital. The three friends were traveling from Mangor towards Airport by Swift car.
