Aug 5 – Enforcement agencies will keep a strict vigil at the Goa borders to ensure that plaster of Paris(PoP) idols are not brought into the state, House was told by CM Pramod Sawant today. Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira also assured the house of immediate action in such cases. PoP idols are banned in the state due to environmental concerns.
