Aug 7 – CM Pramod Sawant today assured to bring new law in next assembly to curb stray cattle menace. The law will hold the owner of cattle responsible for any accidents and multi dept body will oversee the stray cattle issue. Vijay Sardesai pointed out that the victims of accidents are booked for accidents held on Goan roads involving stray cattle. CM also promised to come out with improved police on stray dogs in the state. Govt is contemplating of giving land on lease to organisation to run goshalas, he added.
