Aug 31 – Center has assigned the Town and Country Planning Ministry to me, asserted TCP Minister Vishwajeet Rane today. “Anything happens anywhere, people point fingers at TCP Dept,” he said alleging that this is being done as some people are jealous of the work being done by the department. “Before I became the minister 1.5 crore land was already converted during the tenure of the same govt. When Regional plan was made 9.5 crore sq mtr were converted and 8.5 crore sq mtr was reverted back,” he informed.
