Sept 5- Alleging laxity on part of PI and Incharge Officer at Colvale Police Station in Camurlim child assault case, despite clear directions from CM Pramod Sawant, Minister Nilkath Harnkar has demanded suspension of the erring officials. “I will try for their suspension,” he asserted. He added that he will write to CM as well as DGP Goa about the matter. Pointing out that very negligible Law sections have been slapped on the two arrested teachers, Halarnkar questioned the motive behind the act. “Do they have less knowledge of law or did they act under someone’s pressure?” he asked. Nilkanth alleged that laxity on part of the officers has fuelled agitation by people and NGOs.
