Sept 5- Congress delegation met Governor P S Sridharan Pillai today urging him to seek an explanation from the Goa government regarding conversion of land purchased by CS Puneet Kumar Goel at Aldona. “We have urged Governor to seek an explanation from the government regarding illegal land conversion using section 17/2 of the TCP Act as a tool of corruption to convert Paddy field into settlement zone by the Goa Govt Chief Secretary Shri Puneet Kumar Goel, rampant hill cutting across Goa, and Govt trying to appoint Atamaram Barve as State Information Commissioner. We hope the Governor will act immediately,” said GPCC President Amit Patkar.
