Sept 15- Chairman of Managing Committee of Cutbona jetty has given 7 days ultimatum to the owners to remove their fishing vessels idly berthed at the jetty. Notices have been issued by the committee to this effect. The committee has warned of initiating action without issuing any further notice if the vessels are not removed from the jetty within 7 days. The action has been initiated following outbreak of vector borne diseases at the jetties. Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira had informed yesterday that Captain of Ports has been asked to survey the unused vessels at the jetties . Fisheries department has started sticking notices on dinghies and other smaller vessels warning that they will be confiscated if their owners fail to remove them, he had added.
