Sept 26 – Cashew enterprises will be given Rs 7,000 subsidy per employee per month for every employee employed on the enterprises payroll for minimum 120 days in a year who works for minimum 12 days in a month for at least 8 months. Goa govt notified amended Employment Subsidy Scheme for Cashew Industry today. Enterprises engaging a minimum of 60% of Goan manpower on regular employment are eligible for benefits under this scheme.
